Julia Pello—LIVE!—at Red Rover Reading Series Experiment #85: Consenual Forms event

The Red Rover Experimental Reading Series welcomes Peisithanatos Press’ very own Julia Pello this Saturday, May 16th, 2015 as part of their “Consensual Forms” event.  The Red Rover Series is curated by Laura Goldstein and Jennifer Karmin.  Each event is designed as a reading experiment with participation by local, national, and international writers, artists, and performers.  Founded in 2005, the over eighty events have featured a diversity of renowned creative minds

JULIA PELLO is a poet and filmmaker whose work has been shown around the world including at The Getty, Le Centre Pompidou, CYNEART Festival, and Bangkok International Film Festival among many others. She has collaborated on various audio-visual projects including Hour of Star and Zerkalo and presented live projections at such venues as Paris’ Cité de La Musique. In 2012, Julia published a long, experimental poem called “A Needle Through Night” (which will soon be released in print form by Peisithanatos Press) with the Liverpool based Argotist, and will be releasing a new collection of poems with Peisithanatos Press at the end of this year, in addition to providing photographs for “Drops of Rain”, the long-awaited magnum opus of Chicago’s Poet Laureate Oba Maja.


This event—Rover Reading Series Experiment #85: Consensual Forms—will also feature readings by Gwyneth Anderson, Kiam Marcelo Junio,  and Cassandra Troyan.

“Consensual Forms” will be taking place on Saturday, May 16th, from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. at:
